Recent incidents at two universities in Punjab have highlighted how quickly unverified information and social media posts can circulate and lead to violence and destruction.
We urge every student, faculty and staff member to remain vigilant. Please do not believe, forward or react to any message, video, image or social media post without verifying its authenticity.
If you come across any information concerning the University or its community that appears unverified or misleading, please bring it to the attention of the University authorities at report@galgotiasuniversity.edu.in rather than circulating it further.
If you notice any unauthorised outsiders engaging in suspicious or disruptive activities within the University premises, please inform University Security and the University Response Team immediately.
Please rely on official University communication for verified information. A little care before sharing can prevent misinformation from spreading.
